November 15th is “America Recycles Day”! This is a great reminder to think twice before dropping things in the trash. As you sort through your belongings and organize your home, you may find items that you no longer need or want. Keep an eye out for multiples or items that may be broken, outdated, or no longer serving a function. While reducing the amount of things in our homes, it is good to know we have many disposal options available.  It is easy to give your cast-offs to someone else who can reuse it or enable it to be recycled. No longer do you have to throw out even the most unusual things, like old paint, miscellaneous lumber pieces, or worn out sneakers.  It is amazing how many household items can be reused or recycled.

Below are just a few of the many great places that would love to help you keep your unwanted items out of the landfill. Please feel free to contact me if you would like more information or additional options for a particular item.
